Boca Raton, FL – Fast-growing Pawsch, Inc. today named internationally renowned entrepreneur Kevin McGovern as a strategist/principal in the Florida-based national pet supply company. McGovern, Chairman and CEO of McGovern Capital LLC, is expected to help accelerate the national growth and popularity of Pawsch in the $50+ billion U.S. marketplace for pet products.

Founded in 2007, Pawsch, Inc. operates pet supply service that provides customers with free, on-demand power to get pet products delivered directly to their homes on a regular basis. Pawsch also provides customers with a unique ability to use personalized information to help make informed purchasing decisions. Currently, Pawsch serves communities in South Florida, Jacksonville and Dallas, Texas.

Since 2000, Kevin McGovern has served as Chairman and CEO of McGovern Capital LLC. Mr. McGovern has served as a founder and shareholder of more than 20 companies, including SOBE Beverages, which was later sold to Pepsi. He spearheaded and managed the licensing growth of alpha hydroxy acids, skin cares’ leading global technology. Additionally, McGovern previously served as the Co-Chairman of Angstrom Publishing which publishes with Forbes worldwide “The Forbes/Wolfe Nanotech Report” and on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Sports Authority and Nobel Education Learning Communities, Inc.
McGovern is currently the founder and Chairman of The Water Initiative, LLC, a global business that co-creates and scales affordable and environmentally safe point-of-drinking solutions to its targeted communities.
McGovern has served on Cornell University’s Board of Trustees since July 2001 and has served as Co-Chairman of the Technology/IP Committee. He is currently the Chairman of the Entrepreneurship@Cornell Advisory Council and recipient of the Cornell Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2007. He also teaches a course entitled “Global Innovation and Commercialization” at Cornell’s Johnson Graduate School of Management. Mr. McGovern received his A.B. from Cornell University in 1970 and his JD in 1975 St. John’s University School of Law.
