Linda Arndt, is known worldwide as "The Great Dane Lady" because of her educational website www.GreatDaneLady.com . This website focuses on the care and feeding of all breeds, including a section for feline health, and specializes in large/giant breed health and wellness issues. Linda has breed, trained and shown several breeds in conformation and obedience and produced several champions over the years. She has focused her efforts on raising Great Danes and Pugs so she knows both ends of the size spectrum from toy to giant breeds, when it comes to health and feeding dogs.
Over the years Linda has done research and feed trials on numerous pet foods and health issues such as systemic yeast, allergies, and developmental orthopedic diseases that can affect all breeds not just the large/giant breeds. She works closely with veterinarians and their clients to develop a feeding program individually suited for their animals and her CORE 4 Philosophy of Wellness and Blackwatch Feed Programs have been used by breeders/pet owners for many years.
Linda is a Professor Emeritus and retired in 2006 from university teaching after 34 years, to focus on her Blackwatch Nutritional Consulting LLC., a pet nutritional consulting company that develops holistic foods, treats and supplements to enhance wellness and longevity for our companion animals. Linda has join forces with Pawsch Inc. to help provide customers with the best nutritional information available for their pets and veterinarians.
